RECEPTIONIST

Salary: NJC Scale 2, point 4 to 5 (£25,185 to £25,583 per annum FTE). Actual salary £21,600.98 per annum on point 4.

Contract: Permanent. 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.00 and Friday 08.00 to 15.30. Term time plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year)

Melbourn Village College is seeking to appoint a Receptionist.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be proactive in approach and professional in their conduct with all stakeholders. We require an adaptable and enthusiastic professional who can be the first point of contact with parents and outside agencies, both face to face and over the telephone.

As there will also be some administration support, the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a busy working environment is essential.

Student progress is proven to be consistently high and the college is committed to equipping students with the skills they need to be successful in their future lives. As a successful and ambitious school with just over 600 students there is a strong community feel. Experience of working with young people in a professional manner will be advantageous.
