Receptionist job summary
We are looking to appoint a Receptionist to work 22.5 hours per week on a term time only basis to run a very busy reception area and provide an administrative support service to the Principal and the school under the direction or instruction of the Principal’s PA or other senior staff. This may include some basic finance duties and the role may involve the post holder demonstrating their own duties and providing advice and guidance to new employees and others.
We are looking for someone who can provide a high quality customer centred service with an efficient, positive and helpful approach. This busy key ‘front of house’ role will support the School with a number of reception and administrative functions. The post requires efficient and well-developed personal skills together with a requirement to be able to multi task.
To provide a professional, pleasant and welcoming reception to all School visitors.
Managing/answering calls promptly and effectively and transferring them appropriately.
Recording messages fully and accurately, ensuring that they are delivered promptly.
Ability to deal with sensitive issues whilst maintaining confidentiality.
Managing the signing in / out systems to ensure compliance with Safeguarding and Health and Safety policies.
Job Details
Hours of Work: 22.5 Hours per Week, Term Time Only. Hours of work are Wednesday to Friday 8am until 4pm.
