Regional Finance Manager job summary
Please note this role is for the GLF Trust Team, not solely for de Stafford.
Your opportunity
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our team.
As a Finance Manager, you will work as part of the finance team, led by the Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools, including:
- managing the delivery of the monthly management reports
- overseeing transactional processing within the academies
- preparing and monitoring budgets
- liaising with school-based colleagues as required
We can offer hybrid working, or you can choose to be fully based at one of our regional offices at either de Stafford, Caterham or Southgate Primary School, Crawley. Regular visits to schools in the region will be necessary. We are looking for someone to work 30-36 hours a week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks).
What we are looking for
- AAT qualified and beyond or QBE with relevant experience
- Experience of producing financial accounts using financial systems
- Experience of working within the education or charity sector
- Experience of working within a Finance Department
- Experience of producing regular forecasts

The Details
Salary: Senior Specialist £33,426 FTE (salary to be pro-rata'd depending on working hours agreed)
Pro rate salary: for 30 hours a week: £26,421.28, for 36 hours a week: £31,705.54
Hours: We are looking for someone to work 30-36 hours a week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks).
Location: Base at either de Stafford, Caterham or Southgate Primary School, Crawley
