TCAT Reset Room Tutor

Working 37 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 5 training days and 5 additional days, Fixed Term Contract for One Year

Tyne Coast Academy Trust represents the joining of schools across the north-east region who share a collective vision for excellence in education at all stages. The Trust currently consists of five schools, three secondary schools and two primary schools. The vision of the Trust is to be an outstanding MAT, providing excellence in education at all stages.

The successful candidate will be initially based at North East Futures UTC in the centre of Newcastle but will work with students from a number of Trust schools.

This newly created role will provide joint supervision of the TCAT Reset Room working with a teacher to provide a welcoming, supportive and restorative environment for students. You will be required to deliver small group and/or 1:1 sessions on Key Stage 3 and 4 English and Maths ensuring national curriculum/GCSE coverage and provide pastoral support to students as required.

We are committed to investing in our staff and you will receive a supportive induction programme and have access to high quality CPD. You will also receive consistent support from a dedicated CEO, Trustees, central trust team, Head Teachers and school staff.
