You will have previous experience working with children, young people, or adults with specific additional learning needs and ideally will already hold HLTA status or have a willingness to complete the training.
Your role will involve working closely with the Lead Teacher in the Resource Base to ensure students are able to access the mainstream classroom curriculum either through delivering support and lessons in the base or supporting pupils in their mainstream class. You will be required to assist with school break and/or lunchtime duties.
Full training will be given.

This is an exciting time to join the developing trust and to further your own career in education. You will be joining a lively community of schools that offers professional development and a supportive work environment as well as a generous local government pension scheme.
