The role:
Can your ideas and creativity drive our Resource Centre to the next level? In this role you will run the Resource Centre and Library, ensuring the environment in respected by everyone, using creative approaches to promote reading and supporting leaders in running targeted reading interventions to support weaker readers. You will also be required to assist with any other general administration duties.
About you:
This is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in an exciting and important role in our school community. To be successful for the role, we are looking for someone who is:
- Very organised and has good time management;
- Keen to help young people;
- A good communicator, verbally and in writing;
- Capable on a computer and willing to learn how to use new software and electronic tools;
- Passionate about the values of reading;
- Creative in encouraging pupils to become lifelong readers;
- Eager to collaborate with other resource centre managers across our schools in the trust.
