What skills and experience we're looking for

Outwood Academy Kirkhamgate are seeking a focused, organised and passionate individual to work in a dual role as a Safeguarding and Attendance Officer & Learning Manager within the academy. This is a rewarding role where you will support learning through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring in order to maximise student attainment and encourage pupils to become independent learners. As Learning Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring students academic and behavioural progress. This will involve identifying any children that may need intervention and recognising any barriers for learning. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure all safeguarding procedures are in place and will be a key liaison point between a range of agencies and the academy.
