SGS Forest High is looking for a Safeguarding, Attendance and Student Wellbeing Leader to join our Inclusion Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that every student feels safe, supported and ready to succeed.

What you'll do
Lead and support safeguarding processes as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, helping to ensure that children and young people are protected and receive the support they need.
Champion excellent attendance by identifying barriers, implementing targeted interventions and working closely with students and families to improve outcomes.
Promote positive mental health and wellbeing across the school, ensuring students can access support when they need it.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers and external agencies to coordinate effective support for vulnerable students.
Monitor safeguarding, attendance and wellbeing data, using insights to identify trends and drive meaningful action.
Represent the school at multi-agency meetings and contribute to plans that improve the safety, welfare and educational outcomes of students.
Provide advice and guidance to staff on safeguarding, attendance and wellbeing matters.
Play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all students can flourish
Who you are
An experienced safeguarding, attendance or pastoral professional who is passionate about improving young people's lives.
Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection practices, with a strong commitment to keeping children safe.
Skilled at building positive relationships with students, families, colleagues and external professionals.
Compassionate, resilient and approachable, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally and calmly.
Confident using data and professional judgement to identify concerns and coordinate effective interventions.
An excellent communicator who can engage, challenge and support others to achieve the best outcomes for students.
Committed to inclusion, wellbeing and ensuring every young person feels valued, supported and able to succeed.
Organised, proactive and able to thrive in a busy and varied school environment.
