You will have to have the ability to remain calm and compassionate when dealing with sensitive or complex situations whilst remaining professional at all times.
A significant part of the role will focus on early identification and attendance. The role will also provide support to the wider pastoral team, including responding to behaviour incidents, working with identified students through behaviour mentoring and communicating with parents and carers regarding incidents and concerns. You will be expected to build positive relationships with students and families while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
The role will require you to prioritise effectively, respond calmly to changing circumstances and work collaboratively across the Academy. You will be the person to liaise across these key areas of the school and will be expected to engage and feedback to and the DSL, the Assistant Principal for Behaviour and the Vice Principal for Attendance.
