What skills and experience we're looking for

Oaklands Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced person to lead on Safeguarding and Inclusion. Suitable applicants may have worked within schools, Children’s Social Care, the Police or other agencies that support children.

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • Able to work collaboratively and positively with all colleagues
  • Be adaptable, innovative, and willing to utilise a range of strategies to support children and families
  • Able to have supportive, challenging conversations to advocate for our children
  • Committed to taking part in all aspects of school life, including extra-curricular activities and lunchtime duty cover
  • Competent in using technology.
