Working pattern
- Full time: A safeguarding/pastoral support officer to work within our Inclusion team, led by our Head Teacher. You will be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. You would be the first point of contact for parents and children for any safeguarding concerns; building trusting relationships and making supporting families.

- £ 29,756.35
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who is kind and compassionate, but has a relentless determination to ensure that children are kept safe. You will have experience of working with children and the safeguarding requirements of schools. You must have experience of working with vulnerable families and an excellent understanding of how outside agencies can assist in the safeguarding of children
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, calm, caring, professional with good attention to detail. You will need to be resilient, empathetic, supportive and motivated. Full training will be given, but experience of working within Safeguarding for children is essential. This is a key role within our school, and the successful candidate would join a highly motivated, autonomous team intent on achieving the best outcomes for vulnerable children.

We are a large, three-form entry Primary with over 800 children from 3 – 11 years old. Staff work closely together and there is a very collegiate working atmosphere.
