Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safeguarding Officer to join our safeguarding team and play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, safety and protection of every student across our academy.

About you…

You will be a compassionate and proactive safeguarding professional who is committed to promoting the welfare and wellbeing of children and young people. With strong communication, organisational and record-keeping skills, you will be confident working with students, families, staff and external agencies, while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Most importantly, you will share our commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment where every student can thrive.

Your role…

As a Safeguarding Officer you’ll: Be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, working as part of the safeguarding team, supporting the effective operation of the safeguarding service on a day to-day basis. They will act as a source of support, advice and expertise to promote safeguarding to students and staff in the academy.
