School Attendance and Welfare Officer job summary

We are seeking a conscientious and efficient Attendance Welfare Officer. The position is a permanent post, 3 full days per week over 39 weeks. The successful candidate will support with the smooth running of the school’s daily pupil attendance procedures and ensure the safeguarding of pupils through accurate register maintenance. You will work in close partnership with our lead EWO and senior leadership team.

The successful candidate must be an outstanding administrator, with an unrivalled passion for education and have the drive and resilience to secure the very best outcomes for our pupils. They should exhibit excellent communication skills, be organised, able to remain calm in a busy environment and have the ability to motivate and engage our pupils and families. In return they will join an experienced and friendly team of staff who make an invaluable contribution to the running of the school. ,

We are a mixed comprehensive High School which admits students from Year 9 through to Year 13. We also have a bespoke specialist provision, Tudor Grange Academy Treetops, which admits students from Year 7 with an EHCP stating a primary need of complex social communication and interaction difficulties including autism.
