What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and forward-thinking professional to join our senior leadership team as the School’s Business Manager.

This is a key leadership role in our exciting and innovative Primary School.

Key Duties include:

  • Have a strategic leadership role with the SLT
  • Be responsible for school finance
  • Manage the school site and building
  • Be responsible for Health and Safety
  • Lead HR practice and policy

In addition, you will lead a team of admin staff and act as the Line Manager for the School’s Site Services Officer.

You will work 37 hours per week but start and finish times can be negotiated. There will be the option to work flexibly, including some working from home if this suits the needs of the school.

The post is term time only plus 5 Teacher Days and a further 3 weeks during school closure periods. This is likely to be at the start and end of the summer holidays and one further week to be negotiated.
