School Caretaker/Site Team job summary

SCHOOL CARETAKER/SITE TEAM 


Salary: Grade 4 SCP 6-7 FTE £26,847 - £27,274 (Full Time Equivalent), Pro Rata Annual Salary £5,079.16 - £5,159.94 

Hours of work: 7 Hours per week, one full day per week - every Friday. 

Flexible to cover team holidays and available for overtime as required. 

Contract: All year round (Annual leave plus bank holidays provided) Permanent 

Responsible to: School Manager 

Start Date: As soon as possible. 

 

The Friary School part of the Primitas Learning Partnership is a well-established academy, heavily over-subscribed, and nationally amongst the highest performing schools of its type. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and reliable member of the site team who is genuinely committed to supporting our school community and providing a safe, well‑maintained environment in which our students can thrive. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong work ethic and a positive, flexible approach. They will take pride in maintaining the school site, contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the premises, and ensure that health, safety, and security standards are consistently upheld. 

You will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK, evidence of your qualifications and suitable references.
