What skills and experience we're looking for
We currently have an opportunity for a cleaner to join the school team at our large secondary school in Knowle, Solihull. The ideal candidate will take pride in the high standards of presentation at our school. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who would like a role that fits in with the school day and is a term-time only role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all communal toilet and cloakroom areas around the school are checked, cleaned and maintained regularly throughout the school day. Duties would include performing cleaning duties such as refilling hand sanitiser, paper towels, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning toilets.
Additionally, the role will involve replenishment and maintenance of stocks for First Aid boxes across the school site. The candidate will also assist the Site Team and outside contractors with cleaning of other areas of the school as required, including removal of litter from around the site.
