School Cleaner job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic cleaners to join our existing team of highly motivated and proactive cleaners. An experienced cleaner is preferred, although training is available for a suitable candidate. Working hours will be Monday to Friday ideally 6.30-8.30pm. School holiday work will be required.
Our cleaning team are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliiness throughout the school, supporting the classroom based staff for teaching and learning.
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Self motivated and works well under pressure.
- Has basic numeracy and literacy.
- Is punctual and reliable.
- Is friendly and approachable.

Swavesey Primary School serves a rural catchment area, including the villages of Swavesey and Lolworth. We currently have 300 children working in 11 mixed age classes.
Our school provides a broad, challenging and practical curriculum within a warm, stimulating and imaginative environment to enable our children to enjoy their learning, as well as, develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge to become lifelong learners and achieve their full potential.
