School Counsellor job summary

We wish to appoint a qualified School Counsellor to work with students and staff, across the school, to support and improve their mental wellbeing. The successful candidate will work alongside the Pastoral Support and HR teams to complement and enhance the provision that the school already offers. The successful candidate will have: • At least five GCSE grade C/4, or above, including English and mathematics. • At least a Diploma in Counselling and recent experience of both adult and child counselling. • BACP membership, UKCP registration or BPC. • Effective organisational, time management and prioritising skills. • Enthusiasm and be hardworking.
