Working Pattern:

This role is part‑time, working 3 days per week (22.2 hours) across 41 weeks per year.

  • Term time is 38 weeks.

    • You will work 36 of these weeks.
    • 2 weeks will be taken as paid leave during term time (dates to be agreed in advance).
    • In addition, you will work 5 weeks outside of term time, made up of:

      • 1 week during the October half‑term
      • 1 week during the Easter break
      • 3 weeks during the summer holiday

      This gives a total of 41 working weeks per year.

      About the Role

      We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and motivated Administrator to work within our successful school team as School EHCP Co-ordinator. You will provide confidential, effective, efficient and flexible administrative support, working closely with the SENCo and SEND leadership team to monitor and co-ordinate provision for pupils with EHCP's. You will ensure that statutory responsibilities are met and that the school remains fully compliant in its SEND provision.

      Qualifications:

      • Educated to 'A' level or equivalent (Essential)
      • SENCo Qualification (Desirable)

      Skills & Knowledge:

      • Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and statutory requirements related to EHCPs.
      • Outstanding organisation and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage sensitive information with discretion.
      • Confidence working with local authorities, families and multi-disciplinary teams in a respectful and professional manner.
