What skills and experience we're looking for
Qualifications and training
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant administrative or business management qualification (desirable)
- First aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training)
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
Experience
- Experience of working in an office environment, ideally within a school or educational setting
- Experience managing or coordinating school trips or events (desirable)
- Experience in using and managing a school MIS system (preferably SIMS)
- Experience in line managing or supervising other staff (desirable)
Skills and knowledge
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with office software and MIS systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Knowledge of school administrative processes and statutory requirements (desirable)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
