School Receptionist job summary
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly school environment where you'll play a key role in supporting pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils, and staff.
- Managing the reception area and ensuring all visitors are welcomed professionally.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to email enquiries.
- Maintaining and updating pupil records using school management systems.
- Assisting with general office duties including filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Processing correspondence and supporting the day-to-day running of the school office.
- Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are always followed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a similar customer facing role.
- Good IT skills
- Experience of working in a school admin role desirable
- Enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
Hours would be 8am - 3.30pm term time only.
