THE ROLE
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive School Site Manager for our special school in Huddersfield. As a Site Manager you will provide comprehensive, customer focused, estates and facilities and maintenance services. You will be responsible daily for site opening, ensuring it is always secure and fit for purpose for our younger people. All Health & Safety aspects, compliance checks, fire and security alarms etc.

An exciting time to join us as we have a New School currently being built in Deighton therefore this role is very much a development role offering great career prospects but also you will be instrumental in supporting us and our pupils with this transition over the next 12-18 months. You must be flexible and committed to travel so please consider when applying for commuting purposes.

THE CANDIDATE

  • You will need a varied background in estates/ maintenance/ joinery, working in education settings would be advantageous.

  • We are looking for applicants with experience in a similar role, who are flexible to the adaptability of this role

  • Awareness and understanding of basic safety and security, COSHH regulations, H&S and compliance

  • Computer literate with strong IT and communication skills

  • An interest of working with children/ young people with SEN / SEMH needs

SALARY/ HOURS Salary for this School Site Manager role is £27,711 - £30,060 Grade 5 working full time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust
