What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of teaching GCSE Combined Science and/ or Separate Sciences (E).
  • Experience of teaching A-Level Biology/ Chemistry or Physics (D).
  • Experience of designing and developing curriculum/ assessment resources (E).
  • Experience of examining for AQA GCSE Combined Science and/ or Separate Science components (D).
  • Experience in leadership and management of a science team (D).

Further details about the role

The successful candidate will be required to support the Science Leaders including, but not limited to, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning, quality assuring curriculum and assessment material, co-ordinating a well-considered out Subject Knowledge Enhancement plan, developing ITT/ ECT teachers and supporting feeder primary schools.

This position is permanent and is suited to an individual with drive, passion and commitment who may be keen for career advancement in the future.
