The Role

As an outstanding science teacher working with our high performing science team, you will have a belief that all students can succeed. You will work with our Head and Deputy Head of Science to support the leadership of the science department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading subject-specific improvement initiatives.

• Supporting the science department in raising standards and improving progress and attainment.

• Showcasing best practice in the department

• Providing guidance to enhance the outcomes of our pupils.

Who we are looking for:

This is a role for a dedicated and ambitious science teacher regardless of the stage of your career, with a vision for improving the science education of students at Glenmoor and Winton Academies, possessing the following skills and experiences:

• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for science.

• The ability to inspire students and staff towards continuous improvement.

• A dedication to improving outcomes in science at KS3 and KS4.

• The commitment to keep improving your pedagogy and subject expertise.
