SEN Classroom Assistant job summary
The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Classroom Assistant. Candidates need to be adaptable, caring and resourceful.
Our pupils have a range of complex needs including non-verbal communication, sensory impairment, Downs Syndrome, ASD and a range of learning difficulties. Candidates need to be willing to work across all age and ability ranges.
Previous school experience would be advantageous and training may be available through the apprenticeship scheme.

We are all immensely proud of our School. Sidestrand Hall School caters for pupils aged 7 – 19 years with wide ranging complex needs. The School stands in 15 acres of land on the North Norfolk Coast. We have a range of specialist facilities on site including gardens, greenhouse, woods with a bike trail, a go-kart track, mechanics and construction workshops, science lab, food technology room, sensory room, purpose built Sixth Form and residential units.

Sidestrand Hall has a highly qualified, skilled and committed staff who guide and support pupils through a range of learning experiences which provide them with the skills, knowledge and qualifications they need.
