SEN Learning Support Assistant job summary

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, hard-working and caring staff team. This vacancy is for September and in the first instance is until the end of the Autumn Term 2026 however there is the opportunity to extend to the end of the Summer Term 2027. You will be working in either Early Years or Key Stage One. You will be providing support to children with a significant level of SEND either within a small group, paired or individual support

The hours are 8.40 am to 3.10 pm Monday to Friday plus a half hour lunch break. Part time will be considered so please indicate in your application your preferred hours. It will be Term Time only, plus Inset Days. You will be supporting children during lunch time as necessary. You will have a good knowledge of the Early Years/Key Stage One curriculum and practice and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You are committed to helping children to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of their lives and to help them to reach their potential in each area of the curriculum. You are also committed to making learning fun and exciting. Visits to our school are recommended and warmly welcomed.
