SEN Learning Support Assistant job summary

This is a Learning Support Assistant post is to support a child with Special Educational Needs and will be fixed term contract until 31st July 2021. Supporting learning, speech and language development and social and emotional development.

Foxton Primary School is situated in open countryside at the edge of Foxton village, taking children from 4+ to 11 years. It is a modern purpose built building with 85 children on roll. The school had a successful OFSTED Inspection in January 2018.

The school catchment area includes the villages of Foxton, Gumley and Gartree Estate. We also receive children from many surrounding villages as well as from Market Harborough. As a consequence of this situation children come to school from a particularly wide social background.

The children are taught in vertically grouped classes.
