SEN Support Assistant job summary

Summercroft Primary School is looking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Support Assistant (SENSA) to support individuals and groups of children and facilitate SEMH and learning interventions, across the school, for our pupils who are most in need. The SENSA will work closely with the SENCO, pastoral lead and class teachers, ensuring that the support is appropriately planned, resourced, impactful and engaging.

You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, be friendly, flexible and be able to use your initiative. You should have grade C/4 or above in GCSE/ O Level Maths and English, as well as previous experience of working within a classroom or facilitating interventions.

We are looking for a role that is 17 hours across Monday to Friday, term-time only.
