SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary MKC Grade D1 – D3
Monday – Friday 8.35am until 3.15pm term time (28.35 per week), plus five additional
INSET days.

Our ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in working with children with SEN, including autism.
- A person who loves working with children with special educational needs to help them reach their potential, in and out of the classroom.
- Able to understand the value of inclusion and the impact that this has on children with special needs.
- Able to provide the class teachers and SENDCo with regular feedback on pupil progress, attainment and barriers to learning.
- A team player who can work collaboratively within our Language Department with our SENDCo.
- Someone who can contribute to the planning of differentiated learning activities for key children.
- Able to deliver interventions and provision from EHC plans.
- Confident to collaborate with professionals and outside agencies.
- Committed to safeguarding our vulnerable children and promoting their welfare.

Caroline Haslett is a large school with a small school ethos, who was judged Outstanding in 2019. Our children join us in Foundation Stage aged 4 and leave us in Year 6, aged 11.
