Gledhow Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to work across our school.
We are keen to speak to calm, caring, and resilient individuals who will bring a warm and nurturing personality to our school alongside an understanding of the families and children in our community.
Applications are welcome from suitably experienced and/or qualified Teaching Assistants who can demonstrate good teaching and learning skills with an understanding and awareness of special educational needs and early years.

This is a rewarding role where you will:
- Primarily work providing 1:1 learning support addressing the individual needs of our SEN pupils.
- Support the class teacher during lessons to create an engaging and supportive classroom.
- Help children throughout the day including at playtimes and during dinner.
- Work collaboratively as a team with our amazing teaching, learning support, and lunchtime colleagues.
The working hours are 32.5hrs per week, TTO, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm.
