What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible individual to join our Academy. The position is to join our inclusion team to work with under the direction of the Headteacher/SENCO supporting children one to one with EHCP’s, you will work alongside other members of the Teaching Assistant team, to ensure appropriate support for the needs of our children. Working in all levels of the curriculum, supporting groups and individual children with intervention programmes, suitable for their learning development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have NVQ/CACHE Diploma Level 3 or equivalent qualifications /experience
  • Work alongside class teachers to deliver in or out of class support to address the gaps in learning
  • Be capable of working with small groups of children
  • Have experience of working with one to one with SEN children
  • Be committed and highly motivated
  • Develop positive working relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Support the school’s ethos
  • Be enthusiastic, a team player and be able to work independently using their own initiative
  • Have a commitment to raise achievement and standards
  • Be flexible in order to achieve the best outcomes for the children
  • Be adaptable and prepared to work across the whole primary phase
