We are looking for the inspirational, fun, caring and nurturing 1-1 teaching assistant needed to join our outstanding team.
You will be a caring, skilled and creative teaching assistant, based in our lovely early years class, in our vibrant and friendly village school of 96 children. We are seeking someone who is highly flexible and child-centered, with a nurturing and fun approach to help develop children’s emotional and social skills.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is friendly, approachable and a good team player.
What the school offers its staff
Sennen School is the first and last school in the land! It is located in the small village of Sennen which is located approximately 8 miles west of Penzance. This means we have quick access to the beautiful Sennen Cove, as well as other local beaches.
The school caters for children between the ages of 4 - 11.We currently have 90 pupils on roll and offer a rich & diverse curriculum, as well as before & after-school activities. In 2018 we joined the Truro and Penwith Academy Trust and enjoy working collaboratively with our partner schools as well as having excellent links with Cape Cornwall secondary school which is also in the Academy Trust.
