About the role: Dartford Primary Academy has been judged as a consistently 'Good' school where pupils and adults have good relationships. Pupils follow instructions, pay attention and are respectful of the opinions of others. We have a truly fantastic and rare opportunity to appoint an experienced SENCO to join and strengthen our existing team for January 2022. Our successful candidate will work 3 days per week, but please be aware this is negotiable for the right candidate, and also have EAL experience.
Our SENCO will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SEN policy, SEN information report and provision made by the school for pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities. They will also work closely with staff, parents/carers and other agencies. The SENCO also provides professional guidance to staff in order to help ensure high quality teaching and the effective use of resources to secure an inclusive education.
