SEND Administrator job summary
We’re looking for a highly organised, and proactive SEN Administrator to join our welcoming secondary school in Shepperton. You’ll be a vital part of a team that champions inclusion and ensures that every young person — no matter their needs — is seen, supported, and able to succeed.
This isn’t just an admin role. It’s a chance to become the steady, reliable presence behind a system that truly works for students and families who need it most.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be the engine behind our SEN provision — keeping everything running smoothly and making sure no detail is missed:
- Coordinating EHCP processes, annual reviews, and key meetings
- Being a friendly, reassuring point of contact for parents, carers, and external professionals
- Keeping student records accurate, up-to-date, and meaningful
- Supporting the SENCo to deliver high-quality, compliant provision
- Tracking key information and helping the team stay one step ahead
- Liaising with teachers and support staff to ensure everyone is informed and aligned
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys bringing order and clarity to busy environments
- Communicates with empathy, confidence, and professionalism
- Is naturally organised and takes pride in getting the details right
- Can handle sensitive situations with discretion and kindness
- Is proactive, adaptable, and ready to get stuck in
- Has experience in administration
