Full time SEND Curriculum Access Teacher from September 2022

Required from September 2022, we are looking to appoint a SEND Curriculum Access Teacher who is, or aspires to become, an outstanding practitioner. This is a 1-year fixed term contract in the first instance.

Our successful candidate will have:

● an imaginative and creative approach to teaching and learning
● a strong understanding of effective pedagogy
● A desire to ensure equality of opportunity for every student

This is an exciting opportunity for a primary trained teacher to support students with SEND in a secondary setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for adapting and producing resources to ensure every student can access the key components of the curriculum at Hayesfield in a digital format. They will also work with groups of students who would benefit from their skill set and expertise. If successful in your application, you will become a valued member of the SEND team. Teaching will be focussed on key students at KS3 particularly in Year 7 & 8.

Hayesfield has a strong teacher professional development programme, which affords many leadership opportunities to its employees. All ECTs and teachers new to the school are supported as part of the school’s comprehensive induction programme.
