Southgate Primary School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our committed team on a permanent basis.

What we're looking for:

  • A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
  • Experience in working with children with significant and complex needs
  • Ability to assist with pupils’ personal care, administer medication or  provide health care in line with school policy and Individual Health Care Plans 
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Associate 2 - £24,751

Actual Salary:  £21,441.00

Hours: Term Time Only (39 Weeks) - 36.25hrs per week 

Closing Date: 30th Sept 2026
