Orion Education is a values-led organisation, driven by a determination to create welcoming and open schools for the local community, where every person thrives, makes excellent progress, and succeeds. We are committed to improving outcomes and transforming lives, realising social mobility, and the transformative power of education.
Our leaders focus on improvement that is robust, sustainable, and truly inclusive. We are as committed to developing and nurturing our staff as we are to supporting our young people. Our professional development programmes and approach to school improvement provide depth, rigour, and a wealth of learning opportunities for all.
At The Ravensbourne School, we are proud to be a forward‑thinking, thriving community where inclusion, high aspirations, and innovation sit at the heart of everything we do.
We are now recruiting an exceptional SEND Manager. This is a key opportunity to join a highly ambitious school and play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of our inclusive provision. Working closely with the SENDCo, senior leaders, and wider pastoral teams, you will help ensure that all students with SEND receive the high‑quality support, care, and educational experience they deserve.
As part of our inclusion leadership, you will help drive whole‑school strategy for SEND, strengthen systems that remove barriers to learning, and support teachers in delivering adaptive, evidence‑informed practice. This role is more than a support position — it is your chance to shape culture, champion inclusion, and make a profound difference in the lives of young people and their families.
If you are ready to bring expertise, purpose, and fresh ideas to a school committed to transforming lives, we would be delighted to hear from you.
You are -
A compassionate and determined leader who places young people with SEND at the centre of every decision.
A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of SEND legislation, processes, and statutory responsibilities.
A champion for inclusion who promotes high expectations and equity for all pupils.
A values-driven professional who models integrity, purpose, and authenticity.
A collaborative communicator who builds strong relationships with staff, families, external agencies, and students.
We are looking for a SEND Manager who -
Has a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and local authority processes.
Has experience supporting or managing SEND provision in a school setting.
Is skilled at interpreting SEND data and using it to drive targeted interventions.
Can coordinate high-quality support for pupils with EHCPs and those receiving SEN Support.
Can guide and support teachers in delivering adaptive, inclusive practice.
Communicates with clarity, compassion, and confidence with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Thrives in a fast-paced, ambitious environment and is driven to make a lasting impact on children’s outcomes.
We Offer -
A school with a clear vision, strong values, and a culture of excellence and professional growth.
A supportive Executive Principal, Head of School, SENDCo, and wider leadership team.
Opportunities to innovate, lead change, and shape the future of SEND provision.
A warm, vibrant community of staff, students, and families committed to inclusion and collaboration.
Access to high-quality CPD, SEND-specific training, leadership development, and career progression pathways.
