About the Role
As a SEND One to One Support, you will provide essential operational support that enables staff to focus on delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will be a key point of contact for colleagues, pupils, parents and external stakeholders, helping to ensure processes run effectively and professionally across the school.
Main duties of the role include:
- Supervise pupils with SEND ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented.
- Aid the delivery of education plans suitable to each pupils' learning onjectives.
- Build a trusting relationship with all pupils and communicate according to their understanding
- Promote inclusion and acceptance, support diversity and ensure pupils have equal access to learning and development.
We are looking for an individual who:
Minimum level 3 vocational training/qualification in the care, development and education of children
Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting
Some knowledge of children's social, emotional and behaviour needs and how to support these
