Teaching Assistant - KS2 job summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced, aspirational and energetic teaching assistant to join our large team of support staff in KS2. This position is term time only, working 39 weeks per year and 25 hours per week. The working hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3pm. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with school based experiences and also with experiences supporting children with SEN.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning under the supervision of the Class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Tracking performance of specified groups of pupils.
  • Delivering interventions to support pupil progress.
