SEND Resource Provision Teacher job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional and inspirational new member to work closely with the Headteacher and Sendco in our thriving and successful specialist resource provision, where children are nurtured and educated in a way that matches their needs. The school currently has two spaces for our specialist resource provision, which caters for 16-20 pupils aged from early years to KS2. You would be working alongside other Send Resource Provision Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
The school and Governors are looking for a person who has qualifications, skills, and ambition for the children to enable them to accomplish their learning and personal targets and to join us in pursuit of excellence and our ‘world class’ aims.
The role is suited to someone with a sense of purpose, a positive outlook and attitude, and a passion for helping children be the best that they can be. The team are highly skilled in adapting learning and delivery to enable all children to succeed, and this career opportunity would enable the right candidate to work alongside the current staff to continue to develop outstanding practice.
We are looking for a teacher who:
Has a proven ability to teach pupils with C&I needs effectively using dynamic & engaging techniques.
Has the ability to lead a provision and manage staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice
Can reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.
Can use their initiative to solve problems.
Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents, and external agencies.
