SEND Support Coordinator job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our specialist team as a SEND Support Coordinator. Bushey Meads School provides education for the full ability range of students, to promote the progress and achievement of students through effective provision for pupils

with inclusion needs. We strive to ensure that individual student needs, interests and abilities are recognised and met and encourage all to be independent, resilient and able to make positive life choices.

Someone with a confident understanding of working with young people

Excellent leadership and communication skills

A positive team player

An individual with previous experience of working with students with SEND

Ability to work collaboratively across and beyond the organisation

Flexibility and a ‘can-do’ approach

The post is for 37 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks), term-time + 1 week to include 5 INSET days. The salary range for this post is APT&C point 16-20 plus London fringe paid pro-rata. The full-time figures are £29,572pa to £31,586pa + £1013pa fringe. The actual pro-rata range is £25,292pa-£27,015pa + £866pa.
