SEND Teacher job summary
The Chalet School is an exciting learning environment for primary aged pupils with autism. Our pupils are in need of a SEND Teacher who has passion and drive, who will encourage self-development in every aspect of our pupils’ educational journey, making learning with you – fun. We would ideally like a teacher with a sound understanding of SEND within this age group.
Our Education Provision (EP) is not like any other and you need to see it to feel it. A warm and supportive environment connected to a host of educational settings as part of a wider network of EPs and SEND services; we would recommend a visit to The Chalet School ASAP to see for yourself this inspiring setting.

‘I feel working within a school community with so many like-minded people, we support the children to achieve so many life skills to prepare them for their future. Everyday is different, and the learning opportunities the children experience can vary from pretending to be on a boat to having Zoolab coming in, exploring and holding insects.
‘I'm still learning! Each day is still fresh and new with new challenges and experiences. There’s never a dull moment, yes there are challenges, but I've learnt to be adaptable. You have to think on your feet, but we are also able to celebrate numerous successes with the children.’
