What skills and experience we're looking for
Chilthorne Domer Church School is a happy, thriving school in a small village just outside Yeovil, which is looking for the newest member of its school family. We are looking to recruit a:
SEND Teaching Assistant - Required to start as soon as possible
30 hours per week term time only consisting of:
27.5 hours - Salary Grade 15 (Point 3 - 4)
2.5 hours – Salary Grade 16 (Point 2)
Due to growth in pupil numbers, we are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join our school. This role will involve working with children who have emotional, behavioural and communication needs, supporting them to thrive both academically and socially. As part of a supportive, inclusive environment, you will play a key role in helping our children access the curriculum and develop skills for lifelong learning. We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive practitioner to support 1:1 pupils throughout their day in school. We are looking for an individual with experience of working with children with SEND and who will be willing to support a child at lunch times. This position is subject to funding.
