We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with experience of working with young people with specific needs in either a specialist or mainstream setting. This position is ideal for a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant and is open to full and part time members of staff and will be paid on a pro rata basis.

We are looking to recruit a Key Stage Two Teacher on a Full Time Permanent basis. This position is suitable for an ECT. If successfully appointed, you will be supported by a full package of induction and coaching offered by experienced staff.

The Key Stage Two Team is led and managed by a Phase Leader for LKS2 and a Phase Leader for UKS2. Both are supported by Senior Leaders in school. This is a two-form entry school and so there are up to 60 children in each year group. The Key Stage Two classes are located in the Junior side of John Clifford School with Years 4, 5 and 6 being upstairs in the two-storey aspect of our building.

Staff plan together and PPA is set and supported by the team at John Clifford School. There is a close relationship between Key Stage Two and the key stages above and below and staff work together to ensure that information is shared that best supports development. The curriculum has been well developed and builds upon the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, with a strong emphasis on the acquisition of vocabulary and enhanced, knowledge, skills and understanding in all subjects.
