We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with experience of working with young people with specific needs in either a specialist or mainstream setting. This position seeks to support the delivery of high quality teaching across the core areas as well as providing a focus on nurture, social and emotional skills and therapeutic supports.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who can demonstrate:

  • The ability to work in a small team to make a positive contribution to the lives of children who find mainstream education a challenge.
  • The desire to forge and build trusting relationships with children, parents and carers, professional colleagues and outside agents.
  • A knowledge of a broad curriculum that will support bespoke packages offered to children.
  • The motivation and desire to learn and improve both independently and from others.
  • A commitment to make a difference to diverse learners from across our schools.

This position is ideal for a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant and is open to full and part time members of staff and will be paid on a pro rata basis.
