SEND Teaching Assistant job summary
The Wye Forest Federation is looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children within lower KS2. The post will be for five mornings a week. The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with SEND pupils. They will need to support the children in learning development, classroom routines and to access the curriculum as well as supporting communication, physical and sensory needs.

We are a happy and creative school situated in the village of St Briavels, enjoying a beautiful outlook over the valley and an outdoor environment allowing many experiential learning opportunities. St Briavels currently have 132 children organised into five classes as well as our pre-school Sunflowers Class where we take children from 2 years and 6 months old.
St Briavels is part of The Wye Forest Federation which is currently made up of two partner primary schools situated along the Wye Valley on the edge of the Forest of Dean.
