Job Advert Shrivenham CE Primary School SENDCo – 0.3FTE Temporary post to cover Maternity Leave - Required to start October 2021 Shrivenham CE Primary School is a growing and successful school with happy, well-motivated and hardworking children and staff. We are proud to be part of Faringdon Learning Trust, an eight school multi-academy trust, which was established on 1st April 2012. We are looking for a 0.3 FTE non-class based SENDCo to cover the maternity leave of our current SENDCo. The applicant will be committed to ensuring the needs of our pupils are met, and providing them the best chance of success, both academically and in their future lives. They will be responsible for the day to day operation and co-operation of specific provision to support vulnerable learners and individual pupils with SEN or a disability. They will need to be self-motivated, reflective and creative in solving problems and will motivate, support and challenge others to enhance their practice to improve outcomes for children. As part of the Faringdon Learning Trust, the post holder will be welcomed into our Trust team where they will meet regularly with other Trust SENDCos to share best practice and also have the opportunity to shape and inform SEN provision across our schools. Candidates should be appropriately qualified and have the National Award for SEN Co-ordination, ideally with experience in SEND in a primary setting.
