The Langley Academy Primary is a family-centric, vibrant, and inclusive school, committed to providing high-quality education to pupils of diverse backgrounds.As SENDCO, you will be passionate and determined to provide the best experiences for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) that allow them to become happy, independent and successful individuals. You will work closely with the Headteacher to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the provisions made for the children with SEND. As part of a large and supportive SEND team you will provide an environment in which all individual children can explore, develop and thrive. Creating a love of learning in the children which ignites their: Curiosity, Exploration and Discovery.


Within your role, you will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children within the school. You will build and maintain strong relationships, working with families to support them through what can be a challenging time as they become more aware of their child’s needs and specialist support required to effectively meet them

About you

You will have had experience working with young people and demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work successfully in a team. You should have enthusiasm for education and the desire to make a real difference, an excellent command of English, good interpersonal skills / people skills as well as energy and commitment.
