Beck Primary School and Cascade Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an SENDCO to join the Trust and the Beck Inclusion and Access Team.

We are looking for candidates who are:
Committed to excellence for children with additional needs
Keen to take on a leadership role and to develop their leadership skills as a SENDCO, working alongside another experienced SENDCO.
Experienced as a classroom teacher, with knowledge of strategies to support children with special education needs.
Knowledgeable about adaptive teaching.
Excited by new challenges and working within a team
Forward thinking, passionate about the role and are ready to inspire our staff and children to ensure every child fulfils their potential

About the School:
We would love you to come and visit us and have a tour of the school.
Beck Primary School is the largest Primary School in Sheffield, educating pupils from 2 – 11 years old. The school is incredibly inclusive with an eight place Integrated Resources, a Specialist Hub and a newly formed Nurture Unit. Pupil premium numbers are significant, and 2023 outcomes are below National. The school is three form entry and following a series of successful funding bids the school environment has been greatly improved over the last five years. We are fortunate to offer our pupils a three-year swimming programme, a full-time music, PE and computing teacher.
Due to a well-managed budget, the school is well resourced to support pupils on their educational journey.
The school is passionate about enriching the curriculum and looks for every opportunity to educate children in the real world, through visits and residential visits.
A morning and after school club, run by the school, is available for all pupils and is widely used by parents.
Beck staff team are enthusiastic, good fun and care deeply about the pupils in their care.
