SENDCo job summary

As SENDCo, at Bushbury Lane Academy you will manage the provision for pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), including promoting high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. You will work with and alongside our Education, Welfare and Pastoral Lead, ensuring effective provision for all pupils with additional needs.

The role is offered on a part time basis, working 19.5 hours over 3 days.

  • Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school;

  • Confident in using a range of resources to make the classroom more engaging;
