What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an experienced SENCO either full or part time. If you have the drive to share our commitment to high standards of professionalism and academic achievement for every one of our pupils and to work with the parents closely, then we need you!. All our staff are enthusiastic and have a passion for making teaching, learning and attainment outstanding for every child and who will go the extra mile to help them achieve excellence. This position is to start in September 2024 or subject to notice period. The successful candidate with have the following,

  • Be a Qualified SENCO
  • Preparing and updating SEND action plans focussing on provision, impact and outcomes
  • To produce termly reports and data analysis for the Headteacher and Governors
  • Shaping, co-ordinating and evaluating whole-school policy concerning SEN

Milton Hall is a well-established, diverse school with a very good reputation in the local community. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the school to employ a Learning Support Assistant. You will be expected to work as part of a team in one of our classrooms. The successful candidate will need to have the following:
• An understanding of the school curriculum.
• Experience of developing children’s social skills, communication and language skills and physical skills.
• Be able to work with individuals or small groups of children under the direction of the teaching staff.
You will be expected to work between the hours of 8.30am – 3.30 pm with half an hour lunch, term time only.
